Christine Ha tries Canadian snacks

This YouTube video of my trying snacks from Canada was released a while ago, but I never shared it on my blog. I figured this week would be an appropriate time to share it here since I’d posted about my blind snowboarding experience at Whistler last week.Almost all the Canadians who’ve seen this episode are appalled at the convenience store butter tart I tried in the video. To make you feel better, know that I have tried a real butter tart that came hot out of the oven at a bakery in Ontario. It was during my filming the field pieces of my former show, Four Senses, and yes, it was divine. It very much reminded me of Texas pecan pie but in more adorable, miniature form. So, yes, I know a butter tart can be good—just not the kind we found in a convenience store in Toronto.Sadly, the hubs has never tasted a good Canadian butter tart, but he does love his pecan pie.Hope you enjoy this video, and tune in to my YouTube channel for moreChristine Tries… videos! Happy watching!
